The 2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid was unveiled at this years New York auto show.
This hybrid sedan will have a 2.4-liter under the hood that delivers 169hp and that will be accompanied by a 40 horsepower electric motor. It will be good for 37mpg in the city and 39 on the highway.
The Sonata hybrid set up allows the vehicle to operate on an electric motor only, a gasoline internal combustion engine only, or a combination of the two depending on driving conditions and driver demands. The hybrid also has a total combined output of 209 horsepower, beating the Toyota Camry Hybrid (187 hp) and the Ford Fusion Hybrid (191 hp).
We can expect to see Hyundai Sonata Hybrid in showrooms later this year.
